WOW.

Just had a wee look on Model Mayhem for a photographer, and came across these fab images using Scottish Textile Designers bebaroque's tights. The photographer, Melissa Jenkins has a fantastic portfolio and the model, especially in the bebaroque shots, is a very strong poser. If these are not the brand's official new campaign images, then they bloody well should be!

Nobody's talking about it...

Remember the excitement everyone felt when the first Kate Moss for Topshop collection hit the stores? We remember counting down the days before the launch, and even setting our alarm clock, so as not to miss out on that pansy print playsuit!

How times have changed.

The Christmas Collection launch came and went without any hype from reputable fashion blogs and mags.

Two questions:

1. Why all the nightwear/undies?

2. With most dresses costing over £100, has it always been this expensive?

Having never been a fan of the floaty-floaty boho chic look, the range seems especially tired and staid after the studded, futuristic wonder of the Christopher Kane pieces.

Can't even be arsed to stick some pictures of it in this post.

It's all a bit 'meh'.

YAY! Tights!

Last night,myself and AllyB, a good friend of The Coveted, attended the Bebaroque Launch Party in Boudiche, Edinburgh. When we got off the train, we bumped into Caitlin from Spruced Up. I only recognized her because she was wearing her Topshop Balmain-esque jacket that she had blogged about here. It was so random! Anyway, we met up with AllyB's cousin Lucy for a drink. For sheer comedy, we went to a pub called Dirty Dicks, only to be ID'ed and refused a drink!!! Honestly, didn't they know who we were (joke) and that I have been of legal drinking age for nearly a decade (no joke)?! HUH!! Off we sulked to another boozer with less fussy, and less blind bar staff for some Magners and quality banter.

On arrival at Boudiche, we were treated to Champagne, fresh strawberries and gorgeous chocolate cupcakes. YUM!

We had a look at all the lovely tights, chatted, networked and got rather squiffy on the free booze.

Neither of us bought anything, basically down to the fact, that we had spent all our money in the pub beforehand, but this Friday is payday, and the black Gretel tights will be mine! 

I won't get my Launch party discount, but I am not really that fussed as I have already coordinated about ten different outfits to wear with these beauties.

I got a chance to speak to the founders of the label, textile designers, Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience, who were both so lovely and happily posed for a picture for us.

Tights to die for.

With LFW kicking off in style choc a block with big names, it is easy to forget about the smaller collection launches happening elsewhere, outside London.

The Coveted Magazine will be attending the Bebaroque A/W 09 launch in Boudiche, Edinburgh on 22nd September. The lingerie label founded in 2007 by Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience, specializes in tights and has recently branched out into divine sheer bodysuits.

I cannot wait to see the collection up close, and possibly make a couple of purchases. I have had my eye on these Gretel tights for a while...
