Are you an E-con?

During our recent interview/chat/humiliation on BBC Radio Scotland, we were asked what fashion blogs are the bestest. Naturally I mentioned Kingdom of Style as a blog obsession and it looks like The Guardian agree. Their Top Ten Fashion Blogging E-cons of 2009 contained some of our favourite blogs like Style Bubble and Cherry Blossom Girl and some (new-to-us) blogs like Atlantis Home and Obsessive Wardrobe Change Disorder. Of course the obligatory mention of Fashion Toast (a girl who seems to wander the streets with a look of permanent confusion on her face, apparently in desperate need of directions or at the very least, a map) was in there too.

Yup.

Etsy Gift Guide #1: NELFIN

Searching Etsy for our Xmas Gift Guide is a lot of fun, especially when you stumble upon a new designer whose work instantly appeals to you. NELFIN incorporates Harris Tweed and vintage kimono silk into her fantastic designs. We only wish that her product images had more sleek consistency to them.  She had some other lovely pieces, but the photos simply did not do them justice.

 

 

 

WOW.

Just had a wee look on Model Mayhem for a photographer, and came across these fab images using Scottish Textile Designers bebaroque's tights. The photographer, Melissa Jenkins has a fantastic portfolio and the model, especially in the bebaroque shots, is a very strong poser. If these are not the brand's official new campaign images, then they bloody well should be!
